Thank you for choosing to book with Appletrees. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Any special requests after a booking has been made cannot be guaranteed and do not form part of an agreed contract. Please ensure you have read our terms and conditions.
The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated. Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, telephone calls, drinks etc are additional.
Payments are taken online via our secure booking page. We accept all major debit/credit cards. For security we no longer take payment over the phone. Final balance is due at checkout.
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 2 weeks (4 weeks for Bank Holidays) before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time, no show bookings or any reduction in the duration of the stay, you will be liable for the total amount, subject (at our discretion) to any subsequent re-letting. Any payment due, owing to cancellation, will be charged to the debit/credit card details given to secure the booking. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
Check-in is 4pm – 7pm. Later check in by arrangement. An estimated time of arrival is requested from all guests at the time of booking accommodation. Please contact us directly for more information.
Your accommodation will be available to you from the time agreed when making the booking. Please advise us of any delay and possible late arrival.
Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.
We welcome children of all ages accompanied by an adult. We do not have any facilities to provide travel cots or high chairs, however you are more than welcome to bring them with you. For children who are in with their parents there is a small surcharge to cover their breakfasts.
We have three dog friendly rooms available by prior arrangement. There is a pet surcharge of £7.50 per dog per night, max 2 dogs per room. Towels are available in wet room for soggy doggies.
Please note that dogs must not be left unattended for longer than 1 hour and that dogs are not allowed in dining room. Any damages must be paid for.
All of our accommodation is strictly no smoking.
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In such an event we will offer alternative accommodation and dates.
The owner and/or agents shall be allowed the right of entry to the cottage at all reasonable times for the purpose of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
We reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is party to the contract cause any detriment to the well being of other guests or if any person smokes in any room. You will be liable for the balance up to and including the day of departure.
We make every effort to ensure that the information on our web site at www.brackerigg.com and in our brochure is accurate. We do however reserve the right to make small changes and we accept no liability for minor inaccuracies.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
This contract shall be governed by and construed under English Law and any disputes arising between us shall be subject to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer but is not shared with any third party. Our full policy is available to read on request.
