Covid-19 Info

We are pleased to announce that we are open.

We want to assure you that the health, safety and security of our guests is our highest priority. Please take a moment to take note of how we are providing a safe environment to welcome our guests.

Please note: all Covid-19 policies are based on current UK government guidelines and are being constantly reviewed based on the latest advice. With that in mind, some of the information you receive at the time of booking may be out of date by the time you stay with us. Please check back on our Covid-19 update page for the latest information.


We require guests to wear masks at check-in and for face to face contact, unless an exemption certificate is shown, after that its the guests discretion. We have disposable face masks on request.

Cancellation Policy

Non refundable deposits will be taken at the time of booking as per T&C. If guests need to cancel due to covid we offer to move bookings and if the room resells we can refund the deposit.


Payments are taken online via our secure booking page. For security we no longer take payment over the phone. Final balance is due at checkout.

Risk assessments

We have done risk assessments for all aspects of our guest house, as well as training, and putting new policies and working practices in place in place. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff are always prioritised.


All areas are cleaned daily to a high standard using disinfectant sprays, particularly paying attention to touch areas such as door handles and hand rails.

Rooms are aired between guests with doors and windows left open as much as possible and we will service the rooms on request with the use of ‘please tidy cards’ on the doors.

PPE, Signage and Sanitising Stations

We have invested in PPE, and any contact with guests we will be wearing either a mask or face shield. We have cotton gloves to serve food, and separate aprons for cleaning. There will be signage to help remind us all to social distance, and we are installing sanitising stations at the front door and outside the dining room. Hand wash provided in the rooms has antibacterial qualities.


To aid social distancing, we offer two breakfast seating times in our dining room at either 8am or 8:45am. Breakfast will need to be pre-ordered the night before, and the first sitting will need to leave the room by 8:40am. We are unable to offer the breakfast buffet, but there is an option to order the items, such as fruit and yogurt on the pre order form.

A takeaway breakfast to eat in your room or in the guest lounge is available from 7:30am to 9am. All orders need to be made the night before.
